I am inviting you to the Théâtre Guy-Sabatier in the MAL, on place Aubry in Laon, on Friday 5 March 2027 at 8.30 pm for a concert by Ladaniva.
The band is built around the voice of Jaklin Baghdasaryan and the French multi-instrumentalist Louis Thomas. The official presentation describes a world music that gathers sound memories from all their travels. It blends traditional Armenian music with music from the Balkans, ranging from maloya to reggae, and according to the same text it goes beyond folklore to form a singular identity it calls explosive.
