What to expect
About this event
Let me take you to the Maison des Arts et Loisirs (MAL) in Laon on Wednesday 13 January 2027 for "Blanc(s)", a puppetry and dance show for young and grown-up spectators alike. There are two performances in the salle des fêtes, at 9.30 am and 10.45 am.
The description speaks of an immersive experience mixing action and contemplation, in which young and grown-up spectators are invited to become part of a whole, at the heart of a living, changing environment. The set unfolds and starts moving: in turn a projection surface, an acoustic cocoon for the cello or a space where bodies blend. It plays with scale and questions the place of humans within the living world.
The show lasts 35 minutes and is open from age 1. An adult ticket costs 8 euros and the reduced child rate is 3.50 euros, with online booking on the Ville de Laon ticketing site.
I recommend arriving a few minutes early so that everyone can settle in comfortably.
