What to expect
About this event
I would like to point you to a play on Friday 26 March 2027 at 8 pm at Le Mail, the town of Soissons' cultural venue on rue Jean de Dormans. Its full title is Les Deuils clandestins ou la langouste bleue.
Yann, Coralie, Soheil and Bilal are living through unusual forms of grief that are hard to recognise or express. Yann secretly mourns a former lover. Coralie and Soheil must grieve for a child who never really existed. Bilal wonders about his lack of connection with a country he has never known. Together they set sail for an island to pay tribute to Bilal's parents, but the boat, out of wind and fuel, drifts and forces them to face their buried wounds.
The play is written and directed by Mona El Yafi, with Ayouba Ali, Michael Charny, Delphine Cogniard and Vincent Reverte on stage.
The show is organised by the town of Soissons (CMD). Tickets cost €5 to €20 through the town's online box office. Contact: lemail@ville-soissons.fr.
