What to expect
About this event
I want to flag Laurent Voulzy's concert at Le Mail Scène culturelle in Soissons, on Sunday 17 January 2027 at 4pm. Tickets are listed at 25 to 40 euros.
Important point: the online box office of the town of Soissons, which organises the concert, showed the word "Complet" when I checked it on 28 October 2026. I would rather tell you straight away than raise your hopes.
The official presentation announces Laurent Voulzy's return to theatre and festival stages, with songs that take on another dimension live, between ballads and soaring moments. It recalls a few titles that have stayed with audiences: Rockollection, Le Soleil donne, Belle-Île-en-Mer, Marie-Galante.
On stage, Laurent Voulzy (vocals, guitar) is joined by Michel Amsellem on piano and keyboards, Karen Brunon on violin and vocals, Médéric Bourgues on cello and drums, and Olivier Brossard on bass, double bass and vocals.
Le Mail Scène culturelle is at 7 rue Jean de Dormans, Soissons. For questions: lemail@ville-soissons.fr.
I like the idea of a song concert in the late afternoon: you leave with a chorus in your head and the evening still ahead.
