What to expect
About this event
Let me invite you to the Cité de la Musique et de la Danse in Soissons on Friday 15 January 2027 at 8 pm, for a concert by the Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France.
The programme brings together two contrasting symphonic worlds, written a generation apart, around a Romanticism that moves between classical lightness and an exploration of human depths.
On one side, virtuoso variations for cello, voluble and elegant, in Tchaikovsky's bright, lyrical vein. On the other, the Second Symphony by Robert Schumann, his elder, which the listing describes as marked by a very German gravity, transcended by a vital force that opens onto a horizon of hope.
Tickets range from €25 to €40. The sources consulted do not name the conductor or the cello soloist, and do not give the length of the concert. For these details or for tickets, the Cité de la Musique et de la Danse can be reached on +33 3 23 59 10 12 or at cmd@agglo-soissonnais.com.
