Les petits experts du musée : Mon paysage d'hiver à l'aquarelle

I want to point you to a Christmas holiday workshop at the Musée des Beaux-Arts Antoine Lécuyer in Saint-Quentin: "Mon paysage d'hiver à l'aquarelle", part of the museum's little experts series, on Tuesday 29 December 2026 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

It comes in two parts. First a visit, looking at the museum's landscape paintings. Then the workshop: the children learn the watercolour technique and paint a winter landscape, playing with light colours and water effects.

The workshop welcomes children from age 6. One adult per child may come along, though this is not required, and the accompanying adult does not need a ticket. The price is 5 euros per child. The activity takes place indoors.

I like the idea of looking at the paintings before picking up the brush: you leave with a landscape of your own and a few ideas borrowed from the painters.
