About this event
I am taking you on Wednesday 16 December 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00, to the Musée des Beaux-Arts Antoine Lécuyer, 28 rue Antoine Lécuyer in Saint-Quentin, for a « petits experts du musée » session designed for 3 to 6 year olds.
It all starts around the museum's big Christmas tree, where young and old discover an exhibition devoted to children's faces in the collections. Then it is time for hands-on work: exploring shapes, colours and textures to create a portrait. The idea is to make it together, four hands at work, child and adult side by side, in a warm and creative moment shared as a family.
As for practicalities, each child comes with one accompanying adult. The price is 5 € per child, and accompanying adults do not need a ticket. Booking is required through the Office de Tourisme, at the front desk at 3 rue Émile Zola, or online on the Destination Saint-Quentin website.
