What to expect
About this event
I have a gentle date for the youngest ones: on Saturday 12 December 2026, from 4 pm to 4.45 pm, the Musée des papillons in Saint-Quentin offers a Christmas reading.
Children aged 3 to 6 are invited to settle down among the butterflies and let themselves be carried away by a Christmas tale. The description speaks of a moment of daydreaming and sharing at the heart of the museum, a nice way to wait for the holidays without screens or wrapping paper.
Taking part costs 4 euros. Booking is by phone on +33 3 23 62 36 77 or directly at the ticket desk of the Espace Saint-Jacques, 14 rue de la Sellerie, 02100 Saint-Quentin. The listing mentions a lift and toilets among the facilities.
I recommend arriving a little early so everyone can find a spot before the story begins. Forty-five minutes of storytelling is just right to keep small ears listening until the very last word.
