Les petits experts du musée : Bébé au musée, mon premier Noël

I am inviting you to the Musée des Beaux-Arts Antoine Lécuyer, 28 rue Antoine Lécuyer in Saint-Quentin, on Wednesday 9 December 2026 from 10:00 to 10:30, for a “Bébé au musée” session titled “mon premier Noël”, my first Christmas.

The idea is simple: you are never too young for a museum. Shapes, colours and textures all become ways to stimulate the senses, to share and to awaken an interest in art. The tourist office describes the session as a gentle bubble for approaching the museum differently, thirty minutes with your little one.

The session is open to children aged 6 months to 3 years, with no more than two accompanying adults per child, and it takes a maximum of ten children. The price is 5 € per child; accompanying adults do not need a ticket.

Booking is compulsory through the tourist office, at its desk at 3 rue Emile Zola, or online. Tickets are non-refundable. I like the idea of a museum opening its rooms to visitors who cannot yet read the labels but look at absolutely everything.
