About this event
I am inviting you to Saint-Quentin, which sets up its Christmas Village from 28 November to 27 December 2026. It opens every day from 2.30pm, until 7.30pm from Sunday to Thursday and until 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Christmas market fills rue Saint-André and the Basilica forecourt, with 38 chalets and around fifty traders and craftspeople: gift ideas, handmade pieces and treats. Three activities are free: the ice rink in square Winston Churchill, the sledging run on the Basilica forecourt and Father Christmas's house on place de l'Hôtel de Ville. Fairground rides complete the picture, though the source does not give their prices.
On certain evenings at 5.30pm, parades bring fantastical characters and creatures into the streets: Friday 27 November, then Saturdays 5, 12 and 19 December. From 11 December, a Christmas projection show lights up the façade of the Hôtel de Ville with images and stories, every day from 5.30pm to 9pm and on Saturdays from 6.30pm to 9pm, until 27 December.
