What to expect
About this event
I am inviting you to the Musée des Beaux-Arts Antoine Lécuyer in Saint-Quentin for a Halloween tour designed for the youngest visitors. On Thursday 29 October 2026, two tours take place, from 2pm to 3pm and from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
The programme comes down to three things: exploring the museum by torchlight, listening to spooky stories and eating sweets. Children are invited to turn up in their most horrible ghost, werewolf or witch costume. I love the idea: when the light falls on one detail at a time, a painting turns into a riddle, and little ones look at everything differently.
The tour welcomes children from the age of 3, with no upper age limit. One accompanying person per child is possible but not compulsory. The meeting point is the museum, 28 rue Antoine Lécuyer.
The price is 5 euros per child. Information and tickets are available from the tourist office, 3 rue Émile Zola, on 03 23 67 05 00 or at tourisme@saint-quentin.fr, as well as on the office's online ticketing page.
This event has ended and is now archived. The listing remains available as a record of the event.
