What to expect

About this event

Let me take you to the Village des Métiers d'Antan and Musée Motobécane in Saint-Quentin, where the autumn half-term holidays have turned orange. Throughout the holidays, from Saturday 17 October to Sunday 1 November 2026 inclusive, the site is running a pumpkin hunt for the youngest visitors.

The idea is simple and it works: pumpkins have hidden themselves all over the place, and it is up to the little ones to find them. That keeps them busy while you wander the lanes of the village, where more than 50 traditional trades are waiting to be discovered.

The site is open Tuesday through Sunday from 14:00 to 18:00, and it also opens on Sunday 1 November at the same times, the last day of the hunt. It is shut on Mondays. You will find the village at 5 rue de la Fère. The official sources do not give a price for the activity, so I suggest checking with the museum before you go.
