27ème édition du Cross de Morcourt

I am inviting you to Morcourt, in the Aisne, on Sunday 29 November 2026, for the 27th edition of the village’s cross-country race.

The programme is straightforward. The youth races, which are free, start at 10:00. At 10:30 it is the turn of the short and long cross-country courses, with a 3 € entry fee. These races are open to club members and non-members alike. Starts and finishes are at the municipal greenhouses.

Registration takes place on race day only, at the salle polyvalente, from 08:00. There is no online form: you have to come in person, which at least counts as a warm-up.

The race is held under the auspices of UFOLEP Aisne, and the listed organising contact is ASL Morcourt. The exact distances are not given in the listing, so I suggest asking the organiser if you want to plan your pace to the metre.

Twenty-seven editions make it something of a local tradition, and I am fond of these late-November meetings where people run in the cold before heading back into the warm.
