SUMMARY:27ème édition du Cross de Morcourt
DESCRIPTION:The 27th Morcourt cross-country race takes place on Sunday 29 November 2026, with free youth races at 10:00, then the short and long courses at 10:30 for 3 €, starting and finishing at the municipal greenhouses.\nI am inviting you to Morcourt, in the Aisne, on Sunday 29 November 2026, for the 27th edition of the village’s cross-country race.\n\nThe programme is straightforward. The youth races, which are free, start at 10:00. At 10:30 it is the turn of the short and long cross-country courses, with a 3 € entry fee. These races are open to club members and non-members alike. Starts and finishes are at the municipal greenhouses.\n\nRegistration takes place on race day only, at the salle polyvalente, from 08:00. There is no online form: you have to come in person, which at least counts as a warm-up.\n\nThe race is held under the auspices of UFOLEP Aisne, and the listed organising contact is ASL Morcourt. The exact distances are not given in the listing, so I suggest asking the organiser if you want to plan your pace to the metre.\n\nTwenty-seven editions make it something of a local tradition, and I am fond of these late-November meetings where people run in the cold before heading back into the warm.\nDate: Sunday 29 November 2026. Starts: 10:00 youth races, 10:30 short and long courses. Venue: municipal greenhouses, Morcourt (start and finish). Registration: on the day only, at the salle polyvalente, from 08:00. Prices: youth races free, 3 € for the short and long courses. Open to club members and non-members.\nI can offer you a remarkably efficient way to earn your Sunday lunch. My only warning is that there is no advance registration: you turn up from 08:00 at the village hall, which leaves just enough time to lace your shoes and miss your duvet a little.\n27th Morcourt cross-country race, Sunday 29 November 2026\n27ème édition du Cross de Morcourt, Aisne, on Sunday 29 November 2026: free youth races at 10:00, then short and long courses at 10:30 for 3 €.\nHow much does it cost to enter the Morcourt cross-country?\nThe youth races are free; the short and long courses cost 3 €.\nCan I register in advance?\nNo, registration takes place on race day only, at the salle polyvalente, from 08:00.\nDo I need to be a club member?\nNo, the races are open to club members and non-members.\nWhat time do the races start?\nAt 10:00 for the youth races and 10:30 for the short and long courses, at the municipal greenhouses.
