About this place
Built from the twelfth century on a pilgrimage site, this former collegiate church became a basilica in the nineteenth century. Its architecture bears the marks of war and rebuilding. Admire it from the square, then take a guided visit to understand its many periods. The roof-level tour is a separate booking, not part of the standard guided visit.
Before heading up
The tourist office lists a 90-minute guided visit of the building, excluding the upper levels. For the climb, book the separate basilica heights tour and check its conditions and availability.
