What to expect

About this event

I am taking you to the Familistère in Guise on Saturday 31 October 2026 for a life-size investigation, L'Héritage de Godin. The story begins on 31 October 1889, a few months after Godin's death: Gaspard Flantier, one of his very first partners, has just been murdered. For the Familistère, until then seen as an ideal community, the timing could hardly be worse.

Your mission: with the notebook of clues handed to you by the investigator, you explore the exhibition rooms of the central pavilion, the theatre and part of the former shops. You solve puzzles to find out who the murderer is, what the motive was, where the crime happened and which weapon was used. Along the way, you discover the museum and the social project imagined by Godin.

Departures run continuously from 17:00 to 19:00, and the doors close at 21:00. Most puzzles suit players aged 12 and over, while some hands-on tasks let younger ones help too. Refreshments and food are available on site.
