What to expect
About this event
I am taking you to Bruyères-et-Montbérault, on rue de la Batterie, for a goat farm visit designed with children in mind during the All Saints’ school holidays and meant to be enjoyed as a family.
The programme is a proper hands-on lesson. You learn about goats, feed them cereals and hay, cuddle and brush them, try your hand at milking, and finish by tasting the cheeses. I love visits where hands are as busy as eyes: children leave with their heads full of questions, and grown-ups often do too.
Several sessions took place in October; the one on Thursday 29 October 2026, from 15:00 to 16:30, is the last one announced. To book, simply send a text message to 06 22 08 61 80, which is also the contact number.
As for prices, the listing gives 8.50 € and 9.50 € per person, with a full rate and a child rate for ages 2 to 12, without saying which amount applies to which. I suggest asking when you book. And wear clothes that will not mind a little hay.
This event has ended and is now archived. The listing remains available as a record of the event.
