Let me take you to Barzy-sur-Marne, to Champagne Lévêque Dehan, for an unusual way to see a vineyard: from the bench seat of a VW T2 camper van. The estate calls it Discovery bay, and the idea could not be simpler.

In between, the van follows the Champagne tourist route through vines on both banks of the Marne valley, with tastings planned by the river and up on the slopes. Large windows run along the sides, so the landscape does much of the talking.
