SUMMARY:VANESSA WAGNER
DESCRIPTION:Pianist Vanessa Wagner gives a recital alternating Philip Glass Études and Bach Preludes on Tuesday 11 May 2027 at 8 pm in the CMD auditorium in Soissons, with tickets from €10 to €30.\nI am taking you to the CMD auditorium in Soissons on Tuesday 11 May 2027 at 8 pm for a recital by the pianist Vanessa Wagner.\n\nThe official presentation describes a career combining classical recitals, contemporary creation, period instruments, chamber music and encounters with other art forms. It highlights her musical colours, the intensity of her playing and a constantly renewed repertoire that links worlds too often kept apart.\n\nThe programme is a good example. It sets nine Études by Philip Glass, Nos. 1, 2, 11, 15, 16, 14, 6, 3 and 9, in dialogue with seven Preludes by Johann Sebastian Bach from books 1 and 2, namely Nos. 1, 5, 16, 17 and 2 from the first book and Nos. 20 and 12 from the second. The concert opens and closes with Glass.\n\nThe recital is organised by the Ville de Soissons and the CMD. Tickets cost from €10 to €30 on the official box office. The running time is not stated.\nDate: Tuesday 11 May 2027 at 8 pm. Venue: CMD auditorium, 02200 Soissons. Prices: €10 to €30. Booking: official Ville de Soissons - CMD box office. Organiser: Ville de Soissons - CMD.\nI admit that alternating Glass and Bach seems as daring to me as serving coffee between two apple tarts, and yet it works perfectly well at my house. I am curious to hear the result on the piano. I suggest you count the pieces as you go, there are sixteen of them.\nVanessa Wagner in Soissons: Glass and Bach, 11 May 2027\nVanessa Wagner in recital at the CMD in Soissons on 11 May 2027 at 8 pm: Philip Glass Études alternating with Bach Preludes, tickets from €10 to €30.\nWhen is Vanessa Wagner playing in Soissons?\nOn Tuesday 11 May 2027 at 8 pm, in the CMD auditorium.\nWhat is on the programme?\nNine Études by Philip Glass alternating with seven Bach Preludes from books 1 and 2.\nHow much are tickets?\nFrom €10 to €30, on the official Ville de Soissons box office.\nWho organises the concert?\nThe Ville de Soissons and the CMD.
