SUMMARY:SAXBACK ENSEMBLE
DESCRIPTION:The Saxback Ensemble presents Lumière Noire, the programme of its first album, on Wednesday 14 April 2027 at 8 pm in the CMD auditorium in Soissons, with tickets from €5 to €20.\nI am taking you to the CMD auditorium in Soissons on Wednesday 14 April 2027 at 8 pm for the Saxback Ensemble and its programme Lumière Noire (Black Light).\n\nThe concert marks the release of the ensemble's first album, a step the official presentation describes as decisive in the group's history. The musicians aim to give wind instruments a powerful voice and recorded a repertoire chosen from the styles and periods of classical art music.\n\nLumière Noire follows the path of light into the shadows it casts. Mixing transcriptions and new works, the programme offers an ambivalent look between shadow and brightness, hope and despair, balance and fragility. The pieces performed are not listed in the sources.\n\nOn stage: Louise Marcillat on E-flat and B-flat clarinets, Tom Caudelle on saxhorn, Antonin Pommel on tenor and soprano saxophones, Mathilde Salvi on soprano and alto saxophones, Paul Lamarque on baritone saxophone and Cécilia Lemaitre Sgard on B-flat and bass clarinets.\n\nThe concert is organised by the Ville de Soissons and the CMD. Tickets range from €5 to €20 on the official box office.\nDate: Wednesday 14 April 2027 at 8 pm. Venue: CMD auditorium, 02200 Soissons. Prices: €5 to €20. Booking: official Ville de Soissons - CMD box office. Organiser: Ville de Soissons - CMD.\nI admit that six wind instruments in one auditorium first make me think of a very well organised draught. Here, the breath serves light and its shadows, which is far more poetic. I do advise you to keep your scarf on, purely as a precaution, one never knows.\nSaxback Ensemble at the CMD in Soissons, 14 April 2027\nSaxback Ensemble at the CMD in Soissons on 14 April 2027 at 8 pm: Lumière Noire, the concert for its first album, winds and saxophones, from €5 to €20.\nWhen is the Saxback Ensemble playing in Soissons?\nOn Wednesday 14 April 2027 at 8 pm, in the CMD auditorium.\nWhat is Lumière Noire?\nIt is the programme of the ensemble's first album, made of transcriptions and new works about light and its shadows.\nWho are the musicians?\nSix players on clarinets, saxhorn and saxophones: Louise Marcillat, Tom Caudelle, Antonin Pommel, Mathilde Salvi, Paul Lamarque and Cécilia Lemaitre Sgard.\nHow much are tickets?\nFrom €5 to €20, on the official Ville de Soissons box office.
