The exhibition explores these depths through paper and paint. Crumpled, pressed and painted, the paper becomes relief and sediment and evokes fragments of soil, while the painting reveals soil profiles, buried landscapes and stacked horizons.\n\nThe title refers both to geological vocabulary and to a philosophical idea: what supports without showing itself and makes appearance possible.
