DESCRIPTION:The exhibition by designer Flora Koel in Laon, a hands-on sensory installation created with the Frac Picardie, is shown free of charge at the Espace Bernard-Noël of the Maison des Arts et des Loisirs, 2 place Aubry, from 16 to 26 January 2027, Tuesday to Friday 13:00 to 17:30 and Saturday 14:00 to 17:00.\nI am inviting you to Laon, to the Espace Bernard-Noël at the Maison des Arts et des Loisirs, 2 place Aubry, for the exhibition by designer Flora Koel.\n\nConceived by the City of Laon in partnership with the Frac Picardie, the project turns art into a field of exploration open from the earliest age. Flora Koel’s approach to design is both ecological and sensory, rooted in the resources of a territory. She works with natural materials, reuse and simple making processes to create pieces that invite you to handle, feel and imagine. Used to designing installations for very young children in cultural venues, she creates spaces where the child becomes the driver of their own discovery.\n\nThe exhibition offers an immersive experience at child height, for young and old alike. Looking extends into touching, materials call for gestures, and the space favours handling, independence and wonder, far from the usual museum codes.\n\nThe published dates run from Saturday 16 to Tuesday 26 January 2027.
